Acne Home Remedies And Solutions

If you need some acne home remedies versus going to the doctor to get a prescription or just trying the over the counter solutions, we are going to list a few ideas we have heard of lately. Some ways of treating acne at home with every day products can work and save you money. Some also may not perform as well. What do other acne sufferers suggest for a home treatment?

Some Home Treatments For Acne

Vitamin A and vinegar:

Recently a young man suffering from bad acne breakouts told a story about using many treatments including Proactive and a few other well known products. It was not until he tried white vinegar and some anti-bacterial soap on a regular basis did things change. Soon after his skin was more clear and the blackheads had dissapeared. He also mentioned that he took vitamin A on a daily basis which also helped.

Home Made Paste

Mix together nutmeg, cinnamon and honey and make a paste. Wash your face or area of concern before applying. Appy and leave on for approximately 20 minutes.

Witch Hazel And Rose Water

This can be used as a natural astringent. two drops of orange essential oil with 15ml of alomd oil. Aply this directly to the problem areas of your skin.

Salt And Honey Acne Solution

Fill a small cup with warm tap water. Use quite a few shakes of salt and add to the water. Add even more then you think may be needed. Grab some cotton balls or wad up some toilet paper. Dip this into the solution and apply to the pimple. Hold this onto the area for atleast 3 minutes. The pimple should flatten some and then after a few more times be reduced in size by quite a bit. Use honey to help the area heal.

For serious acne breakouts use more powerful over the counter medication.
